Metalbox GMK

Metalbox GMK was a Hungarian manufacturer of diecast models for Matchbox and Corgi.

In October 1986 they started making first models for Matchbox and the contract ended in 1988. The deal with Matchbox allowed them to only sell models on the Hungarian market. No export was permitted.

Metalcar

Metalcar was the biggest manufacturer of diecast models in Hungary in 1980-1990.

They made copies of Matchbox models using dies that were most likely stolen.

Metchy (aka Mechy) was a manufacturer of diecast models in Hungary in 1980-1990.

They made copies of Matchbox models using dies that were most likely stolen.
