  • Jeep Grand Cherokee Feature Cars changed from MB977 to FC 07
  • Tinforcer corrected to MB1047
  • Corvette Sting-ray III corrected to MB255
  • Rescue Truck (SF0467) corrected to MB386
  • Also SF1028 and SF1072 were duplicates. Those were merged into 1028. If you had any collection entries with 1072 Im afraid you'll need to re-enter those as 1028. My apologies!

  • PROBLEM FIXED: if you were logged in (and had a collection), and searched by MAN# from the home page, the resulting list all showed models with green bars- indicating you owned all of the models. This was corrected so that now only the models in your collection show the green bars. Note- listings from the Search Models page were already working correctly.

This can be searched by itself or in combination with any others of the browse release data fields.   • BUG FIX:
  • Corrected issue with adding variations to wishlists and collections. Previously program was incorrectly truncating LR model numbers, and they would not display in collection reports. Numbers, whether LR or SF, are now handled correctly and models are visible on reports. I have also corrected the errors in the database table, so LR models peviously entered should also display correctly. Please email me if you see any further problems with this.

New Functionality

Added a new search criterion to the Search Models page (a request from one of our members).

Search by Models First Produced in a Year let's you enter a year (from 1953 on) and provides a list of all of the models that were first released that year by Matchbox. You can then click on any of the results to drill down and see the versions, variations etc. Try it now.

Please note: I discovered that I have a number of the regular wheels models out of order with respect to release year. I am correcting those year by year as I go, so you will see the LR #'s change for models.

Once you see versions, variations and releases for a model, then it's in the correct order and all set.

SUPERFAST ARE COMPLETE!!! All models of Superfast (up through June 2016) are now in the database and on the site. The next goal is to catch up on 2016, then go back and add Mack no.'s to all of the models (i.e. models after 2004). Then- on to regular Wheels.

Added feature: The Update / Delete Codes function for your collection's location and seller codes now shows you all of the codes you have in the database before you enter one for editing or deletion. We are working on adding checkboxes that lets you select directly from the list to edit - stay tuned.

Fix: Corrected a problem with the back arrow on many browsers. Previously if you did a search, then drilled down on a model, then pressed the back arrow you would get a brower error rather than return to the search results. That has been fixed and you will now be returned to the search results page.

FIXES: Lots of work! Thanks to all 'beta testers' who found bugs for me.

Fixed issues with creating collection. Can now create collection without system error. Coll name limited to 12 chars

Variation and Release detail screens: fixed bug that allowed you to add models to collection or wishlist even if you had not created a collection, or didn't have appropriate security (ie not logged in). Now fixed: will not see collection options on these screens unless you are logged in and have created a collection first.

Added validation to many user input fields (ie collection code display order now requires a number)

Fixed issues on Manage Collections screen- now shows appropriate check or x for steps you've completed or not

Open Items: Collection Summary Reports are not retuning correct results. Will work on those over next couple of days. Models in Collection reports does work.

ISSUE RESOLUTION: The problem with uploading files has been corrected. Uploaded files are now received by the site administrator, and the database record for the upload is created correctly.

Fixed 'Create Account': on successful account creation it sends you directly to login page (fixes the 'Hello ___' problem in header)
